Questions about these ideas

Are these about real sea animals?
No. They describe invented creatures, so there is nothing to look up and nothing to copy. Real animals are welcome if that is what turns up.
What paper works best?
Plain white paper and any pen or crayon. Avoid glossy paper, which reflects the flash and makes the photo harder to clean up.
Does the cleanup change the drawing?
No. It removes the shadows, the table, and the yellow cast from your kitchen light, and leaves every line exactly as drawn.
